The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson cracks Jenkins with a big right hand and Jenkins goes down!
It looks like Paul Jenkins has been cut.
Johnson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Matty Johnson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jenkins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Jenkins persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.
Jenkins tries to sprawl but Johnson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jenkins is staying active underneath Johnson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Johnson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jenkins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Johnson.
Johnson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
