The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from The Gun.
The Gun gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Oliveira counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Oliveira throws and elbow that misses. The Gun uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Oliveira's guard. Nice move by The Gun!
The Gun trying to control the position from guard on top but Oliveira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The Gun tries to stand but Oliveira is controlling from the bottom.
The Gun is fighting to break Oliveira's control of his arms but Oliveira is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Gun drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. The Gun seems to have locked his on tight now - Oliveira screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for The Gun, as he picks up the win!
