Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Edwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Frederik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Richard Frederik was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frederik tries to close the distance and clinch but Edwin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Edwin misses with a wild combination.
Frederik dodges the punch combination from Edwin.
Edwin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Edwin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Frederik wants to clinch up but Edwin keeps it at a distance.

Frederik closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Frederik unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Edwin can't break the clinch.
Frederik with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Frederik pushes Edwin back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Edwin fails to pull guard.
Edwin prevents the takedown attempt.
Frederik throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Edwin blocks it with crossed arms.
Frederik misses with a knee to the head.
Edwin takes a knee to the side of the body.
Edwin is breathing heavily.
Frederik lands a left hand that snaps the head of Edwin backwards.
Frederik is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Frederik's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Edwin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Frederik just stands there and leans against the cage.

Frederik connects with a nasty looking knee right to Edwin's face.
Edwin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Frederik digs a right hand into Edwin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Edwin's gas tank.
Frederik is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Edwin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A frustrated look appears on Edwin's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Frederik lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Edwin backwards.
Frederik using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Edwin has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Frederik misses with a knee strike.
Edwin tries to pull guard but Frederik won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Edwin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Edwin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Frederik seems to be stalking Edwin here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Edwin drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
