Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guy Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Brookins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Guy Owen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Brookins! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Owen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brookins avoids it really well and circles away. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Owen shoots in for a double leg but Brookins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Owen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brookins napping and manages to drive through into side control! Owen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brookins, who protects the arm well. Brookins managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Owen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Owen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Owen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Brookins is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Brookins is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Brookins wants to improve his position but Owen is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Owen passes the guard and advances to mount! Owen is working for a guillotine from mount but Brookins frees his head quite easily.
Poor strikes thrown by Owen there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Owen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Owen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Brookins is surviving well by controlling Owen's body position as best he can. Owen wants to control the pace but Brookins is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brookins is trying to escape the mount.
Brookins is controlling an arm, preventing Owen from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Brookins tries to lock up and control but Owen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Owen tries to control but Brookins wriggling away. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Poor strikes thrown by Owen there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Owen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Brookins is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Brookins flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Owen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Brookins and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Owen slips an arm under Brookins chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Owen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Owen is squeezing on Brookins like an anaconda would it's prey. Brookins fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
