Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, The Lemiwinks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Ellis! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lemiwinks misses with a head kick.
Ellis has a takedown stuffed. Lemiwinks misses with a few strikes there.
Ellis gets the takedown into side control. Ellis decides to take the fight back to the feet. Ellis shoots in looking for a takedown but Lemiwinks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ellis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ellis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lemiwinks sprawls well initially but Ellis persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ellis with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ellis trying to control from Lemiwinks's half guard. Lemiwinks has other ideas though and has regained full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ellis engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Andrew Ellis. Lemiwinks misses with the combination.
Lemiwinks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ellis moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ellis rushes Lemiwinks and presses him up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ellis tries for a takedown. No joy.
The Lemiwinks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Ellis. Lemiwinks being controlled against the cage. Ellis tries to work over Lemiwinks's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Ellis leaning his opponent against the cage. Ellis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lemiwinks misses with a series of wild punches.
Ellis clinches up against the cage. Lemiwinks working hard to break the clinch. Ellis fails to pull guard.
Lemiwinks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The Lemiwinks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ellis looks gassed! It's a brutal combination of punches from Lemiwinks! Ellis is backing up but he can't get away as Lemiwinks lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Ellis and ends the fight. Great knockout.
