Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramires's entrance music is Fly Me To The Moon - By Frank Sinatra. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ramires sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ramires is trying to get back to full guard.
Ramires is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard.
Jones is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jones is looking for a kimura but Ramires is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jones to get the leverage.
Ramires is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ramires avoid being mounted?
Jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ramires knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Ramires controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Ramires defends the submission attempt.

Ramires slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Jones trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ramires manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Jones has his foot on Ramires's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ramires works his way back into a safe position though.
Jones looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones wants to control but Ramires passes easily into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ramires throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Ramires is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ramires slips a nice elbow through Jones's hands, connecting with Jones's forehead.
Jones tries to get to full guard but Ramires has control of the leg.
Jones is looking to control Ramires's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?
Jones looks gassed!
Jones trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Ramires manages to pass to mount!

Ramires prevents Jones from getting the reversal.
Ramires trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Ramires scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jones?
Ramires is landing with some decent strikes but Jones is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Ramires! Jones is out cold! This one is all over!
