PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karamba Labrador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belfort kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 300 Violin Orchestra. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labrador slips a jab and a cross from Belfort.
Belfort will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Labrador really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belfort. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Belfort pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Labrador back to the cage. Belfort follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Labrador is working to get back to half guard.
Belfort throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Labrador because Belfort loaded up on that one.
Belfort misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Belfort has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Belfort is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Labrador can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
