Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith has Bungay up against the cage in a clinch.
Smith lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Bungay letting Smith take a breather here.
Smith misses with a knee strike.
Smith tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Bungay takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Merv Bungay has been cut.
Come on Smith - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Smith tries a knee to the head but Bungay blocks it.
Bungay can't break the clinch.
Bungay tries to break the clinch but Smith is controlling the position.

Bungay has had enough of the clinch but Smith keeps him there for the moment.

Smith tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bungay wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.
Bungay seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Bungay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bungay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bungay wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Bungay avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smith showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bungay.
Bungay throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bungay throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Smith with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bungay to score with a decent uppercut.
Bungay connects with the punch.
Bungay misses with a wild combination.
Smith connects with a solid leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bungay scores with a nice strike.
Smith throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bungay ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bungay connects with a stiff jab that staggers Smith - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
