Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhammed Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hell Yeah. Khalidov has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Mike Roberts has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalidov misses the shot to the body.
Roberts looks for a takedown but Khalidov sprawls well.

and Roberts decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Khalidov's guard.
Roberts slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Roberts decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Khalidov thuds his right hand into Roberts's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Roberts shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khalidov pinned against the cage. Khalidov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Khalidov throws a poor cross that misses
and Roberts counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Khalidov thinking.

and Roberts decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Khalidov's guard.

Roberts drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roberts jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Roberts wants to lay and pray for a moment but Khalidov keeps working.
