Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cripple Tron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lyoto Machida is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Cripple Tron will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab-cross combination lands for Tron and sends Machida crashing to the mat! Tron follows him down to the mat - Machida regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Machida has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tron can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Machida working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tron doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tron manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Machida goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Tron counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Machida down! Tron is looking to finish but Machida is intelligently defending himself.
Machida is still in real trouble! Can Tron finish him?
Tron wants to control from the top but Machida keeps moving.
Machida seems to have recovered his senses.
Tron throws a strike but Machida rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Tron is pushing down on Machida's leg trying to pass to half guard. Machida is fighting to maintain full guard but Tron has managed to sneak the leg through.

Tron is looking to take a break and control but Machida is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Machida is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tron's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tron's back!

Tron tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Machida prevents Tron from getting the reversal.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cripple Tron.
Well Tron has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
