Bear shoots and misses

and Navarro decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bear's guard.
Navarro thows a big elbow that misses.

Bear wants to sweep but no luck.

A frustrated look appears on Bear's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bear drops down looking for an ankle pick but Navarro pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bear throws a right hand that Navarro ducks under and follows up with a left that Navarro also avoids with ease.

It looks like Max Bear has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Navarro ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Bear feints and as Navarro raises his hands in defense, Bear changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Navarro tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Navarro keeping moving, preventing Bear from controlling successfully.
Bear stands and throws Navarro's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Navarro manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

and Bear counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bear doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Navarro counter with a right hand.

Bear wants to lay and pray for a moment but Navarro keeps working.

Bear is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Navarro looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bear gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Navarro is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bear lets go of the hold and Navarro can pop his arm back in it's socket.
