Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Straus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Chigurh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Straus comes into the arena with Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Chigurh's choice of entrance music: Kvelertak-Mjod. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Straus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Straus thows a leg kick but Chigurh checks it
and Chigurh counters with a good, hard body kick but Straus shrugs it off.
Straus drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Jack Straus has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Straus tests Chigurh's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chigurh looks to land a left hand but Straus moved out of range nicely.

and Straus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Chigurh lands a big head kick that sends Straus tumbling to the mat! Chigurh takes a step backwards and waves Straus back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chigurh misses with a hook to the body
and Straus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Chigurh tries to bum rush Straus with a series of wild strikes but Straus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Straus avoids the head kick by Chigurh.
Chigurh lands a high kick!
Straus throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chigurh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Chigurh scores with the left hand. Straus knows he should have avoided that one.
Straus motions for Chigurh to come forward. Straus throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A nice inside leg kick there by Straus. That's going to slow Chigurh down.

Straus lands a left and a right that send Chigurh crashing to the mat, dazed. Straus thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Anton Chigurh has been cut.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Straus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Chigurh circles away from the clinch attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Straus throws an off balance right hand
and Chigurh counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Anton Chigurh will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Chigurh walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Straus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Straus misses with an uppercut
enabling Chigurh to counter with a crisp jab.
Chigurh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Straus misses the shot to the body.
Chigurh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chigurh jabs Straus to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Straus looks to clinch
and Chigurh counters with an outside leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Straus punishes Chigurh's body with a nice straight punch.

Straus throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Chigurh counters with a nice uppercut.
Straus moves in looking to clinch but Chigurh pushes him off.
Straus throws an off balance right hand
and Chigurh counters with a nice kick to the body.
Chigurh throws a front kick aimed at Straus's knee but Straus avoids it well.

Crunch! Straus slams his shin into Chigurh's torso.
Chigurh throws a shot from downtown. Straus moves away and avoids it.
Straus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chigurh.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chigurh throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Straus counters with an inside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anton Chigurh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Straus's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Chigurh misses with a low kick.
Straus thumps Chigurh with a low kick.
Chigurh swats away the attempt to clinch by Straus.
Straus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Chigurh just misses with a punch to the body.
Chigurh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Straus throws out the jab.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Straus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chigurh was well out of range. Poor timing from Straus.
Chigurh throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Chigurh throws a head kick that misses.
Chigurh is looking to land body kicks.

Chigurh throws a leg kick
and Straus counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chigurh thinking.
Chigurh throws a leg kick
and Straus counters with a good low kick that Chigurh was not able to check.
Chigurh takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Chigurh throws a leg kick but Straus moved away.
Straus on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Straus throws a right hand that misses
and Chigurh counters with a thumping low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Straus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chigurh - the referee stops the clock and Straus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chigurh. Straus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Anton Chigurh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Chigurh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
