Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Renton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aldo Raine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raine has chosen Tennessee wing walk as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Renton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aldo Raine!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raine tries to clinch up.
Raine moves away from the strike by Renton.

and Renton counters with a nice double leg into side control. Raine won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Raine sneaks out the side door and pushes Renton away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Raine wants to get up but he can't break Renton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mark Renton.

Renton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raine can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mark Renton.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Renton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
