Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sol Goode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Sichev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goode kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is .. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goode shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Goode content to control rather than advance.
Sichev wants to improve his position but Goode is controlling well.
Goode stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Goode is looking to clinch but Sichev is avoiding it.

Sichev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Goode got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sichev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Goode has managed to get both his arms back between Sichev's legs - danger averted.
Sichev wants to sweep but no luck.
Goode has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Sichev to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Goode is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Sichev pulls down on the head and he's put Goode to sleep! This one is all over!
