Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Craig Christ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lamb Chops (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christ's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stephen Lynch - Craig. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Craig Christ!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lamb Chops!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Chops counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Chops has gone for a leg lock! Christ slips out almost immediately though and dives into Chops's guard.
Chops is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Chops throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Chops seems to be looking for submissions.
Chops not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Christ might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Chops with the ground and pound but Christ uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Chops drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Christ manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chops has Christ in his guard.

Chops is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Christ is aware though and is defending well.
Chops is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Christ prevents Chops from getting back to his feet.
Chops tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Chops is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Chops wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Chops is trying to hold Christ in close to prevent damage but Christ has managed to pass into half guard.
Chops wants to control but Christ is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Chops is looking for a sweep. Christ is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Chops is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Christ jumps into side control!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Christ counters by clinching up.
Chops jumps guard but Christ stands there with Chops around his waist. Chops gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Christ works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Chops has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Christ is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Chops tries to pull guard but Christ holds him up against the cage and eventually Chops drops back down to his feet.

Chops wants to get back to striking at distance but Christ won't allow it.

Christ fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chops has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Christ counters with a nice kick to the body.

and Christ counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Christ is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Chops misses with a takedown
and Christ counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Christ finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Lamb Chops seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chops has his takedown stuffed
and Christ counters with a slapping leg kick.
Chops bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chops doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Christ counters with a good low kick that Chops was not able to check.

Christ lands a jab.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Christ is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Chops is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Craig Christ has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lamb Chops.
Christ looks to land a combination. Chops sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Christ scores with a jab. Chops acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Christ connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Chops ducks under a wild hook from Christ.

Christ dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chops. That did some damage!

and Christ counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Christ counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Christ throws a wild body kick that Chops sees coming a mile off.

Christ misses with an uppercut

and Chops counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Christ!
Chops misses with some ground and pound and Christ recovers position to half guard.

Chops seems to be working for a kimura but Christ defends the submission attempt.
Chops thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chops is looking for a kimura but Christ is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chops to get the leverage.
Chops thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Christ to regain full guard.
Chops tries to free his leg and advance position but Christ is retaining full guard.
Chops is looking to work some ground and pound but Christ has wrist control.
Chops trying to control but Christ is working from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Christ keeping full guard, as Chops tries to pass.
