The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bozkurt lands with a nice body kick.
Bozkurt misses with a takedown
and Jacobs counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Bozkurt!
Bozkurt is rocked!
Jacobs throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bozkurt is still in real trouble! Can Jacobs finish him?
Bozkurt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bozkurt seems to have recovered his senses.
Bozkurt is trying to maintain the position but Jacobs is very close to passing his half guard.

Jacobs throws a strike but Bozkurt avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Jacobs is working Bozkurt over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jacobs has his foot on Bozkurt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bozkurt works his way back into a safe position though.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bozkurt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
