Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lennon Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hungy Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lewis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lennon Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hungy Henry!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry fails with the takedown
and Lewis counters with a two punch combo.
Henry shoots in for a double leg but Lewis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Henry takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lennon Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hungy Henry.

Lewis throws out a powerful jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lewis, as that shot connected.

and Lewis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Lewis works Henry's body with a nice hook.
Lewis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Henry looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lewis connects with a right hand. Henry shakes it off.
Lewis lunges at Henry with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Henry's hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Henry uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lewis.

Lewis throws a right and a left that Henry avoids nicely.

Lewis loads up on a big right hand but Henry slips the punch.

Lewis catches Henry with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A jab lands there for Lewis.
Henry is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lewis is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Henry.

Oooh a lovely combination from Lewis sends Henry down but not out. Lewis dives into side control looking to finish.

A lull in the action here as Lewis stalls from top position.

Henry seems to have recovered his senses.

Henry sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lewis's guard.

Lewis kicks off Henry and gets to his feet.
Lewis looks to throw the jab but Henry is out of range.
Lewis throws an overhand right that lands on Henry's shoulder, as Henry tries to avoid the shot.
Nice takedown defense from Lewis. No joy for Henry on that attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Henry is nestled in close to Lewis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Henry connects with a nice short shot to Lewis's temple.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Henry thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lewis's head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lewis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Henry on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hungy Henry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Donk. Henry catches Lewis right on the button with a cross.

I think Henry has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
