And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rez Kandinsky!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lirios throws a sloppy head kick and Kandinsky moves out of range easily.
Lirios misses with a few strikes there.
Kandinsky finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lirios misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A right-left combo lands from Kandinsky.

It looks like Dino Lirios has been cut.
Lirios throws a sloppy head kick

and Kandinsky counters with a nice right hand that sends Lirios toppling to the canvas! Lirios scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kandinsky finish him?!

Lirios is rocked!
Dino Lirios seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kandinsky has Lirios up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Lirios is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lirios is trying to break free.

Kandinsky drops Lirios onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Lirios is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
A nice right hand lands inside from Kandinsky.
A bit of stalling here from Kandinsky.
Kandinsky stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Nice body punch from Kandinsky.
Lirios is breathing heavily.
Kandinsky digs a right hand into Lirios's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lirios's gas tank.
Lirios seems to have got his legs back now.

Kandinsky drops Lirios onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Lirios is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Kandinsky lands a hook that snaps the head of Lirios backwards.
Kandinsky dips a shoulder and cracks Lirios with a mighty uppercut! Lirios falls back against the cage and Kandinsky unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lirios is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Kandinsky screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
