Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy McDermot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ice Cube (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDermot comes to the cage accompanied by I'm An American by La Coka Nostra. Cube has chosen Bow Down as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDermot shoots and misses
and Cube counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McDermot throws a head kick but Cube moves out of range.
Cube looks to score with a jab to the body but McDermot is just out of range.
McDermot throws a body kick that misses.
Cube pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McDermot throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McDermot closes the distance looking to clinch
and Cube counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cube scores with a jab to the jaw.
Cube throws a right hand that McDermot ducks under and follows up with a left that McDermot also avoids with ease.
McDermot tries a head kick but it misses.
McDermot throws an off balance right hand
and McDermot takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McDermot lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Ice Cube has been cut.
Cube dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cube takes a swing at McDermot's ribcage but misses.
Cube cracks McDermot with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Cube avoids the head kick by McDermot.
Ice Cube is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cube throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McDermot.

McDermot throws a head kick that Cube semi-blocks.
Cube takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
McDermot tries for a takedown but Cube circles away easily
and Cube counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
McDermot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cube will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cube tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McDermot paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cube blocks a head kick by McDermot.
McDermot takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jimmy McDermot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDermot does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McDermot lands a head kick. Cube smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Cube trying to get back to full guard but McDermot takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

McDermot throws some wild stikes that Cube manages to avoid easily.

Cube tries to clinch there but McDermot circles away.
McDermot is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Cube lands with an uppercut that bounces McDermot off the cage and back into rage.
McDermot misses with an uppercut. Cube saw that one coming.

and McDermot connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McDermot takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McDermot misses with an uppercut
and Cube counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cube misses with a body punch

and McDermot counters with a head kick that drops Cube to the mat! Cube scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Cube is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cube is still on wobbly legs! Can McDermot finish him?
McDermot feints a jab and as Cube dips his head, McDermot unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Cube right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Cube falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! McDermot smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
