The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards moves to clinch but Hammer breaks away
and Hammer counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Edwards thinking.
Edwards tries a head kick but it misses.
Edwards throws a right hand that misses
and Edwards takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Glenn Edwards has been cut.
Edwards throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Hammer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hammer.
Edwards is trying to break the clinch but Hammer has him pressed against the cage.
Edwards is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Hammer lands a shot to the body.
Hammer makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hammer with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Edwards breaks from the clinch.
Hammer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Hammer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hammer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Edwards's face.

Edwards is looking to improve his position but Hammer isn't that keen on the idea.

Hammer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hammer postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Edwards badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Hammer around the waist but Hammer pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Hammer is the winner by TKO! Hammer jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
