SilvA is trying to maintain the position but Kowalczyk is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

SilvA escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kowalczyk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Viktor Kowalczyk.
