Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Saguro Takada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richard Vanderbilt!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanderbilt takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Takada fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vanderbilt fails to land the takedown.
Takada looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Takada looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Vanderbilt needs to keep his hands up - Takada had a free shot at his head there.
Takada lands with a shot to the body.
Takada rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vanderbilt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vanderbilt takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

It looks like Richard Vanderbilt has been cut.

Takada drives through and clinches with Vanderbilt against the cage.
Takada has had enough of the clinch but Vanderbilt keeps him there for the moment.
Takada is pressed up against the cage. Vanderbilt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Takada down to the mat. Takada avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Takada throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Vanderbilt is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Takada gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Vanderbilt is still on wobbly legs! Can Takada finish him?
Takada stalling.

Takada breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Takada moves into the clinch.
Vanderbilt keeps control of Takada as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Takada dips a shoulder and cracks Vanderbilt with a mighty uppercut! Vanderbilt falls back against the cage and Takada unloads with a barrage of strikes! Vanderbilt is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Takada screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
