Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leon Czolgosz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Petrova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sasha Petrova will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

enabling Petrova to counter with a crisp jab.

Petrova is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round but I would say that Leon Czolgosz will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Petrova counters with a three punch combo that has Czolgosz backing up. Czolgosz nods at Petrova to acknowledge the strikes.

Petrova regains half guard, as Czolgosz was trying to land strikes.
Czolgosz wants to advance to full mount but Petrova doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Czolgosz wants to control the pace but Petrova is squirming around nicely.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Czolgosz connects with a nice short shot to Petrova's temple.
