The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baba's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Baba duly obliges.
Baba takes the fight into the clinch.
Baba throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Baba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baba tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tuominen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tuominen shoots in but Baba avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tuominen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Baba trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Tuominen is looking for a triangle here but Baba uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Tuominen is looking for a sweep.

Baba looking to control but instead Tuominen has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Baba trying to mount his opponent but Tuominen defends it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Baba is trying to control the action in half guard but Tuominen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Baba tries to stand and escape but Tuominen is controlling the position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Tuominen manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Baba is posturing up here but Tuominen has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Baba tries to roll out but it's too tight and Baba has to tap! Slick submission there by Tuominen!
