Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diogo Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Kamphius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinto comes to the cage accompanied by Do you really want to hurt me. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamphius shoots in but no luck this time.
Pinto goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Kamphius bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pinto is not content to let Kamphius control the position.

Kamphius is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pinto has escaped the position, nice work there.
Pinto is trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pinto looks to move to half guard but instead Kamphius has passed into mount! Damn!

Kamphius wants to control the pace but Pinto is squirming around nicely.
Pinto sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pinto is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kamphius's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kamphius's back!
Pinto cracks Kamphius with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Kamphius from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Kamphius breaks Pinto's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Pinto manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kamphius manages to get himself to full guard.
Pinto wants to pass the guard but Kamphius is keeping the position.
Kamphius looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pinto is one step ahead there.

Kamphius is desperately trying to improve his position but Pinto has a good base and remains in mount.
Pinto is landing with some decent strikes but Kamphius is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A big strike lands for Pinto! That's really hurt Kamphius and he's turned his back - Pinto keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Pinto jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
