The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seagul tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and St John counters with a head kick.

Seagul has managed to clinch.
St John jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Seagul walks away with a smile on his face. St John gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

St John tries to keep at a distance but Seagul has taken the fight into the clinch.

It looks like Arthur St John has been cut.

St John jumps guard but Seagul stands there with St John around his waist. St John gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

St John has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Seagul uses from the top position.
