Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sean Murphey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphey comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Shipping up to Boston - Dropkick Murphy's. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Murphey to the mat! Murphey manages to get full guard.
Murphey keeping moving, preventing Newton from controlling successfully.
Murphey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Murphey pushes Newton off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Murphey tries to clinch but Newton is having none of it.
Murphey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Newton counters with a three punch combo that has Murphey backing up. Murphey nods at Newton to acknowledge the strikes.

Murphey's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Murphey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Newton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Newton tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Murphey smiles and moves away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sean Murphey.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Murphey, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
