Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Collin Challis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emile Gaston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Emile Gaston was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Challis looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Challis scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Challis with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gaston looks to land a left hand but Challis moved out of range nicely.
Challis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Challis misses with a kick to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Challis.
Gaston throws a nice looking combination but Challis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Challis misses the body punch
and Gaston counters with a takedown into side control.
Challis is looking for a sweep.
Gaston is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Challis is not content to let Gaston control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Challis tries to bench press Gaston off him but Gaston keeps the position.
Challis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gaston on the ground.
The ground and pound from Gaston seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Gaston creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Gaston in side control, throwing shots but Challis defends.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Challis is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Challis's face as Gaston controls the position.
Gaston tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gaston has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Gaston is working to tighten is grip on Challis's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Challis has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gaston is really squeezing tight and eventually Challis passes out! Gaston breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
