Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Edoardo Bertolone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayson Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bertolone might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Fight song - Marylin Manson. Rodriguez has chosen So Cold By Breaking Benjamin as his entrance music. Edoardo Bertolone had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 137.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Jayson Rodriguez enters the cage!

Rodriguez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Bertolone might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Bertolone looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Rodriguez feints a jab promting Bertolone to slip. Rodriguez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bertolone slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Rodriguez might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Well Rodriguez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
