Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kawasaki Dojo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Markson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Markson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markson avoids the head kick by Dojo.
Dojo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Markson connects with a nice short shot to Dojo's temple.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

John Markson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Markson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
