Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steven de Pina!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gigi Ceausu!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for de Pina, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ceausu sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Ceausu checks a leg kick nicely.
Ceausu doesn't succeed with the takedown
and de Pina connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
de Pina getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ceausu tries for a takedown but de Pina circles away easily
and de Pina counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ceausu with a lazy takedown attempt
and Ceausu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Steven de Pina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gigi Ceausu.
Ceausu fails with the takedown
enabling de Pina to counter with a crisp jab.
de Pina throws a shot from downtown. Ceausu moves away and avoids it.
de Pina connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ceausu momentarily.
Ceausu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and de Pina counters with a three punch combo that has Ceausu backing up. Ceausu nods at de Pina to acknowledge the strikes.
de Pina lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ceausu backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ceausu blocks a head kick by de Pina.
Ceausu checks a low kick from de Pina.
Ceausu misses with a combination
and de Pina counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
An inside leg kick lands from de Pina.
de Pina misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
de Pina misses with a jab, cross combination.
de Pina throws a solid leg kick but Ceausu takes the impact on his shin and smiles at de Pina.
Ceausu has his takedown stuffed
and de Pina cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ceausu tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
de Pina scores with a hook.
de Pina tries to work over Ceausu's front leg with a kick but Ceausu checks it.
de Pina connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ceausu. Ceausu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ceausu walks into a jab.
de Pina waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ceausu.
de Pina takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
de Pina misses the shot to the body.
Ceausu works over de Pina's head and body with a nice combination.
de Pina checks the leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
de Pina throws a lazy uppercut
and Ceausu counters with a nice double leg into side control. de Pina won't be happy with that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
de Pina is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ceausu tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Ceausu is chipping away with strikes.
de Pina wants to control but Ceausu postures up.
Ceausu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. de Pina looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ceausu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. de Pina is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ceausu lets go of the hold and de Pina can pop his arm back in it's socket.
