Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phliip Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by Wees Niet Bang (Paz rmx). Phliip Sagat has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with George White's chin.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White fails with a takedown attempt.

Sagat closes the distance and pushes White back into the cage.
Sagat lands a knee to the head.

Sagat breaks from the clinch.

Sagat moves into the clinch.
Sagat tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

It looks like George White has been cut.
White is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sagat gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Sagat is pressed up against the cage. White has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sagat down to the mat. Sagat avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

White tries to keep at a distance but Sagat has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sagat is trying to maintain a safe position but White gets an underhook and turns Sagat into the cage.

White jumps guard but Sagat stands there with White around his waist. White gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sagat is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. White is defending well for now.

White jumps guard but Sagat stands there with White around his waist. White gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
White has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sagat is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
White misses with a knee to the head.

Sagat gets underhooks to prevent White's takedown attempt.

White is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

White tries to pull guard but Sagat holds him up against the cage and eventually White drops back down to his feet.

White shoots in but Sagat avoids the takedown attempt easily.

White jumps into guard, dragging Sagat to the mat.

Sagat looking to improve position, pressing down on White's thigh with his hand. White seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Sagat paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Sagat's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! White picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
