Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Box Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Box Spar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Box Spar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rashad Evans!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Spar.

and Evans counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Evans.

Evans drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Spar gets the underhooks and prevents it.

A frustrated look appears on Spar's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Evans has Spar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Spar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Evans accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Box Spar.
