Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kid Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera throws a leg kick that is checked
and Vera takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Vera tries to clinch but Alves moves away
and Alves counters with a nice uppercut.
Kid Vera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alves lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Alves makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Alves is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vera sees it coming and defends easily.

Vera is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vera is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Alves couldn't care less - he's delighted!
