Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saleh misses with a shot to the body
and Rossi counters with a straight right hand.
Basheer Saleh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saleh is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rossi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Saleh misses with a combination
enabling Rossi to counter with a crisp jab.
Saleh on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Basheer Saleh has been cut.
A bone on bone clash there as Saleh blocks the leg kick.
Rossi misses with a body kick.

Rossi throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Rossi pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Rossi gets underhooks to prevent Saleh's takedown attempt.
Rossi with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Rossi throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Rossi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Saleh managing to block the knees to the body from Rossi.
Saleh on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rossi has Saleh pushed against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rossi.
Rossi throws an elbow but it misses.

Rossi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Rossi pushes off an throws an elbow but Saleh leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Rossi misses with an elbow over the top.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rossi tries a knee to the head but Saleh blocks it.
Saleh is working for takedown but Rossi is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Basheer Saleh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Saleh takes a knee right on the jaw!
Saleh avoids a wild elbow strike from Rossi.
Rossi with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Rossi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Saleh blocks it with crossed arms.

Rossi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Saleh is defending well for now.
Rossi using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Saleh has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rossi's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Rossi connects with a knee to the head.
Rossi is pressed up against the cage. Saleh has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rossi down to the mat. Rossi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rossi scores with a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Saleh stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Saleh throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rossi lands a big head kick that sends Saleh tumbling to the mat! Rossi takes a step backwards and waves Saleh back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Saleh is rocked!
Saleh moves away from the strike by Rossi.
Oh Saleh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Saleh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rossi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Saleh somewhat.
Rossi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Saleh looks up at the clock. Bad move! Rossi lands a right hand from hell, dropping Saleh. Rossi pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Al Rossi!
