Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lasi Kukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Handelman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Handelman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by All I Do is Win. Kevin Handelman has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukko misses with a takedown
and Handelman counters with a stiff right hand.
Handelman misses with a body shot.
Kukko misses with a head kick.
Handelman tries to clinch up but Kukko circles away and keeps his distance.

and Handelman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Handelman counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lasi Kukko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kukko motions for Handelman to come forward. Kukko throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Handelman counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kukko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Handelman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Handelman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kukko jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Handelman walks away with a smile on his face. Kukko gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Handelman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Handelman.
Kukko is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Handelman pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kukko is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Kukko tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Handelman just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kukko has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Handelman uses from the top position.
Kukko is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kukko is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Handelman is aware though and is defending well.
Handelman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Handelman wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Kukko's closed guard. He's half up but Kukko has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Kukko pivots and extends the arm, Handelman falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Kukko! Well done that man!
