Akiyama comes to the cage accompanied by Akiyama Theme Song (This Is My Life - Edward Maya). Wellington has chosen Scary as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiyama uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wellington.

Wellington closes the distance and clinches.
Akiyama tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wellington avoids it.

Wellington lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Wellington blocks the elbow strike.

Wellington breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wellington digs a good hook to Akiyama's body.
Wellington lands with a shot to the body.
Wellington bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Akiyama's head backwards.
Wellington connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Akiyama's hands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wellington cracks the inside of Akiyama's front leg.

Wellington feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Akiyama sprawling to the canvas! Akiyama rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wellington finish him?!

Akiyama is rocked!
Wellington lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Akiyama falls backwards - clearly groggy! Wellington dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
