Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dixon Tudeep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tudeep has chosen Survival of the Fitttest as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tudeep thows a body shot but no joy.
Tudeep has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tudeep there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Dixon Tudeep has been cut.
Tudeep moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Tudeep swings for the body but Murphy moves out of range.
Tudeep tries to land a front kick but Murphy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Murphy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tudeep tries to clinch up but Murphy circles away and keeps his distance.

Tudeep drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tudeep jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tudeep has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Murphy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tudeep escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Murphy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Murphy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tudeep can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Murphy cracks Tudeep with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Murphy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Tudeep is desperately trying to improve his position but Murphy has a good base and remains in mount.

Tudeep takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Murphy's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
