The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Boruc is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Connen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Artur Boruc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Connen is defended easily by Boruc.

Boruc cracks a nice hook into Connen's ribs.
Connen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Boruc smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A jab from Boruc finds it's way through Connen's defenses.

Connen looks to score with a jab to the body but Boruc is just out of range.
Oh Connen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Connen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
