Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zues Egan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Claude Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Thompson's choice of entrance music: If Rap Gets Jealous by K'naan. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Thompson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Thompson loads up on a big right hand but Egan slips the punch.
Egan lands a right hook to the body.

Thompson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Egan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thompson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Thompson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's time! Egan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Egan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Thompson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Thompson throws a right and a left that Egan avoids nicely.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Thompson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Egan - the referee stops the clock and Thompson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Egan. Thompson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
