The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

SilvA bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bambrough is looking for a sweep.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bambrough parries the strikes from SilvA easily there. SilvA is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bambrough to escape.
SilvA throws an elbow but Bambrough slips to the side and avoids it well.
Bambrough is trying to buck SilvA off.
SilvA misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The ground and pound from SilvA seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
SilvA tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bambrough was well out of range. Poor timing from SilvA.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well SilvA has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
