Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ji Hyok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyok comes to the cage accompanied by Smells Like Teen Spirit . Liddell has chosen It's Dark and Hell is hot as his entrance music. Liddell has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell misses with a left hand
and Hyok counters with a straight right hand.
Hyok throws the left hand but Liddell avoids the punch easily.
Hyok throws a body punch but Liddell moves out of range.
Liddell takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hyok throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Liddell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hyok.
Liddell avoids the body shot from Hyok.
Ji Hyok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hyok is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Liddell.

Liddell tries to move into range but Hyok moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Chuck Liddell's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Hyok stuns Liddell with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Liddell might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Hyok misses with a series of wild punches.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
