Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Monk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monk comes into the arena with My Ding-a-ling blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotten looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Monk tries to close the distance and clinch but Rotten swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Monk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A left and a right from Monk both land. Nice combination.
Rotten tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Monk was well out of range. Poor timing from Rotten.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Monk closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Rotten has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Monk.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rotten checks a leg kick.
Monk feints and then cracks Rotten's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rotten down.

Monk throws out a leg kick but Rotten moves out of range and Monk only half commits.
Rotten looks to land a body kick but Monk moved away.
Rotten walks into a left hand.
Rotten takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Rotten bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
