Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Evaby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler DeGraaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evaby circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Evaby to counter with a crisp jab.
DeGraaf throws a sloppy head kick
and Evaby counters with a nice uppercut.

Evaby decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
DeGraaf tries to get to full guard but Evaby has control of the leg.
DeGraaf is trying to maintain the position but Evaby is very close to passing his half guard.
Evaby content to control rather than advance.
Evaby wants to stand up but DeGraaf has a hold of him and won't allow it.
DeGraaf wants to control the action here but instead Evaby manages to pass to full mount!

Evaby goes for an armbar but he's not got it… DeGraaf turns into him and now he's in Evaby's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

and Evaby counters with a shoot takedown. DeGraaf fights it but they end up in guard.

DeGraaf has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Evaby tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
DeGraaf changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Evaby fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

DeGraaf working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Evaby doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Evaby manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

DeGraaf is trying to control the action in half guard but Evaby is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tyler DeGraaf wasn't active enough on the ground.
DeGraaf throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Evaby's waist but Evaby gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing DeGraaf off to one side.
DeGraaf tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
