Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brody Savanis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy falls off balance throwing a combination

A momentary lapse in concentration from McCoy enables Savanis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McCoy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

and Savanis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Savanis is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McCoy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McCoy shrugs it off.
