Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Bridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lei Wulong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonny Bridge!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lei Wulong!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bridge gets caught flat footed, as Wulong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bridge pulls Wulong in close to prevent any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bridge is on top in guard.
Bridge is in close to Wulong's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Wulong has his foot on Bridge's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bridge works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wulong isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bridge stacks Wulong on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bridge!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
