Maxwell connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Maxwell fails to land with a series of punches.
Aldo swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Maxwell counters with a nice body shot.
Aldo throws a body punch but Maxwell moves out of range.
Maxwell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Aldo.
Aldo slips under a jab.
Aldo scores with a nice right hand.
Maxwell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Maxwell takes a swing at Aldo's ribcage but misses.
Aldo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maxwell moves away.
Maxwell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Aldo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Aldo misses with a left hand
and Maxwell counters with a nice uppercut.

Maxwell throws a left and a right that both miss
and Aldo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Aldo misses the shot to the body.
Aldo throws an off balance right hand
letting Maxwell counter with a right hand.
Aldo works the jab nicely.
It looks like Ken Maxwell has been cut.
Aldo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Maxwell misses with an uppercut
and Aldo counters with a nice body shot.
Aldo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maxwell throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Aldo counters with a two punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Aldo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Maxwell swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Aldo.
Ken Maxwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

enabling Aldo to counter with a crisp jab.
Aldo throws a body punch but Maxwell moves out of range.
Aldo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Maxwell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Aldo.
Maxwell is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Maxwell throws the left hand but Aldo avoids the punch easily.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Maxwell has cracked Aldo with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Maxwell lands another huge swinging hook and Aldo tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Aldo, before Maxwell can land any more shots!
