The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimizu throws a right hand that misses
letting Luther counter with a right hand.

Shimizu has Luther up against the cage in a clinch.
Shimizu has Luther pressed against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Shimizu.
A short body shot lands from Shimizu as the two fighters clinch.
Luther is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Shimizu is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Luther is keeping busy.
Shimizu lands a left hand.
Shimizu lands a hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Martin Luther has been cut.
Luther's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Shimizu is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Luther is rocked!
Shimizu softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Oh Luther is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shimizu dips a shoulder and cracks Luther with a mighty uppercut! Luther falls back against the cage and Shimizu unloads with a barrage of strikes! Luther is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Shimizu screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
