Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rawh Poherduex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poherduex misses with a head kick.
Poherduex works Rogers's body with a nice hook.
Rawh Poherduex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rogers gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Rogers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Poherduex misses with the combination.
Poherduex lands with a shot to the body.
Rogers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Poherduex throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rogers wants to clinch up but Poherduex keeps it at a distance.

Rogers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oooooh!!! Poherduex has knocked Rogers down with a huge combo! Poherduex steps away and waves a wobbly Rogers back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Rogers closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Poherduex tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Poherduex wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Poherduex is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rogers tries to control but Poherduex wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You get the feeling that Poherduex really doesn't like being in this position too much.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Poherduex can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rogers tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Rogers get's back to his feet.
Poherduex lands with a nice body punch.
Poherduex connects with a looping right hand.
Poherduex misses with a double jab.

Rogers fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Poherduex lands with an overhand left.
Poherduex comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Poherduex throws a sloppy head kick and Rogers moves out of range easily.
Rogers moves in looking to clinch but Poherduex pushes him off.
Poherduex lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Poherduex lands a big head kick that sends Rogers tumbling to the mat! Poherduex takes a step backwards and waves Rogers back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Rogers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Poherduex stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Poherduex wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Rogers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Poherduex stuns Rogers with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Poherduex scores with a jab to the head.

Poherduex cracks Rogers with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rogers looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Poherduex finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rogers walks straight into a right hand from Poherduex - that's dropped him! Poherduex jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rogers from any more punishment! Rogers complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
