Pinto has chosen Do you really want to hurt me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Adriano Flamenguista had a look across the cage there at his opponent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flamenguista with a poor takedown
and Pinto counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Pinto tries to keep at a distance but Flamenguista has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pinto keeps control of Flamenguista as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Flamenguista throws and elbow that misses. Pinto uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Flamenguista's guard. Nice move by Pinto!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pinto wants to pass the guard but Flamenguista is keeping the position.
Flamenguista is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pinto is pushing down on Flamenguista's leg trying to pass to half guard. Flamenguista is fighting to maintain full guard but Pinto has managed to sneak the leg through.
Flamenguista wants to control but Pinto is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Flamenguista tries to roll over but Pinto keeps him under control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pinto.

Flamenguista gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pinto dodges an elbow strike from Flamenguista.
A frustrated look appears on Flamenguista's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Pinto jumps into guard, dragging Flamenguista to the mat.

Pinto had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Flamenguista defends it easily.

Pinto manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Flamenguista is squirming around, avoiding Pinto's attempts to control the action.

BOOM! Pinto connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Pinto has hold of Flamenguista's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Flamenguista manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Flamenguista is trying desperately to improve position.

Pinto wants to take Flamenguista's back but he can't do it this time.
Flamenguista is squirming around, avoiding Pinto's attempts to control the action.

Flamenguista tries to lock up and control but Pinto gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Flamenguista prevents Pinto from taking his back.
The referee warns Flamenguista that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Pinto goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Flamenguista turns into him and now he's in Pinto's guard.

Pinto is looking for a triangle but Flamenguista pushes his legs off easily.
Pinto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pinto has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Flamenguista! Can he survive? No! He's out! Pinto gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
